中国医学科学院、北京协和医学院整形外科医院外耳整形再造二科是以外耳先天畸形或后天缺损的修复再造、瘢痕整形为特色，同时开展各类整形美容手术的特色专科。专科拥有一支经验丰富、工作细心的专业化技术团队。经过三代人孜孜不倦的努力耕耘，专科形成了以个性化耳再造为核心理念，拥有了一套能够稳定获得理想效果的外耳再造核心技术体系，以及外耳再造、听力重建和半面短小的联合治疗方案，再造的耳部形态真实，竖立稳定，有温度有感觉，并可同期提高听力功能，达到国际领先水平。专科自成立以来，手术病人的数量不断增加，规模不断扩大，已成为在我国外耳整形与再造等领域技术实力雄厚、治疗手段多样、手术效果好，病人数量多，影响力大的特色专科。
学科拥有一支老中青结合的高素质医疗团队，共有医生8人，其中7人具有博士学位，主任医师教授1名，副主任医师1名，主治医师5名，培养博士、硕士研究生15人。年手术3000余台次，治疗小耳畸形患者800余人次。近年来获科在国内核心期刊发表论文约30余篇、在SCI收录论文约20余篇，其中国际知名杂志Nat Commun 1篇，国际整形权威杂志PRS 4篇；获得国家自然基金委资助项目7项，发明专利1项，主编专著1部，参与编写专著和教材4部，获国家科技进步三等奖1项，省部级科技进步一等奖1项。
